  • Wang,yuju

Based in Taoyuan, Taiwan.

Her artistic practice spans sculpture, installation, and mixed media, exploring the intricate relationships between humans and objects—their emotional attachments, psychological projections, and the tension between industrial production and handmade labor.
Through strategies of personification, de-functionalization, and material transformation, she continues to investigate the notion of “unstable perception,” reconstructing the ways objects exist between reality and perception.
Her recent works examine the emotional underpinnings of objects in contemporary society, seeking new narratives and meanings within material forms.
