SOLO (2021)

Beech wood, sound installation, button, metal components

41x40x17

In Solo, I translate the sounds produced during my work process into interactions between the body and objects, shaping sensory experience into sculptural form. Sound and material become tools that extend my perception. The sounds in the work are drawn from moments when machinery is touched, rubbed, or struck—serving as a way to “sculpt” a particular instant. Through this arrangement, the viewer is invited to recall their own auditory memories and to re-enter the work through sensory engagement.
